Totally agree, the daily commute in London is such a drudge!

Since having children I have not been in full time employment but, I have done some freelance advisory work and tutoring- both of which were/are done from home.

When I was in employment I often worked from home for part of the week which worked out really well for me . I think it depends on the type of job you are doing and how flexible your employer is but if it is possible I'd definitely recommend it.

Thanks Ummishaq, London is crazy when it comes to commuting to work espiecially when workng in central London. I wish driving a car to work, but.......first, the traffics in central London, second - pay congestion charge, third - no parkig spaces where I work at all.
sometimes I am thinking to get a job from home, but I have no idea whether the ads are reliable, and the emloyers trustworthy...
i think i need to do some research about it :-)
tutoring is good idea!
I thought also about some admin or data entry, something that i can use computer while staying at home.
